Effective date
1. Protection principles
Zirooms aims to provide a safe space for young people to share their interests. We restrict sexual or violent content harmful to young people, exploitation, harassment and illegal transactions, applying the same principles to open and closed rooms, comments and messages.
Zirooms is not operated as an adult-only content service. Publishing or distributing media harmful to young people, unlawfully recorded material or child sexual exploitation material is not allowed.
2. Registration age
Registration is available to users aged 14 or older, and this is confirmed at signup. We currently do not operate a legal guardian consent procedure for children under 14, so registration below that age is not accepted.
This confirmation is a declaration by the user about their age, not a separate identity verification service. If registration by someone under 14 or an age-related risk is identified, we consider restricting registration, deleting information and other necessary protective actions.
3. Handling harmful content
- Sexual solicitation or exploitation of young people, requests for sexual images and blackmail using personal information are prohibited.
- Disclosure of school, location or identity information, exclusion and repeated harassment are prohibited.
- We restrict encouragement or promotion of illegal gambling, drugs, transactions prohibited for young people and harmful activities.
- Administrators review reports of harmful or illegal content and take necessary measures such as hiding, deletion and account or posting restrictions. Access may be restricted first in urgent danger.
Room managers must also follow this policy. Being a closed room does not permit harmful information or exploitation.
4. Reports and support for affected people
Report the content URL and situation through reporting on posts, comments or messages, or the email below. Do not repost harmful images or sensitive information on other boards; send only necessary materials. Guardians or representatives may also report the situation.
For immediate physical danger or crime, call 112. The operator cooperates with lawful requests and considers measures to prevent further harm. Reporting through the service does not replace reporting to investigative authorities.
5. Responsible person and changes
The person responsible for youth protection is Han Seung Sik; the operating entity is RubyOn Studio. Send youth protection inquiries and reports to info@rubyon.co.kr.
The operator reviews and improves youth protection standards and reporting procedures. Policy changes and their effective dates are announced through the service.
