1. Purpose and definitions

These terms define the conditions, rights and obligations for use of Zirooms, provided by RubyOn Studio (operator: Han Seung Sik, hereafter the operator), between the operator and users. A member is a user who completes registration; a room is a space grouping boards and conversations around a particular interest.

The community rules and privacy policy also apply according to each document's purpose. Room-specific management notices cannot set conditions contrary to these terms or applicable laws.

2. Registration and accounts

Registration is completed when a user aged 14 or older enters an email, nickname and password, agrees to these terms and the collection and use of personal information, and finishes registration. Zirooms currently does not accept registration from children under 14.

Members must register an email they can use and a lawful nickname, and manage passwords securely. Registration or use may be restricted for clear reasons such as impersonation, stolen information or repeated misuse.

Account information can be changed in account settings. A member's email is not made public as the author information of ordinary posts. Nicknames and avatars are shown to other users for author identification, member search and other service features.

3. The service and rooms

Zirooms provides room proposals and support for opening, posts, comments, replies, attachments, member messaging, notifications and management features. Open rooms are public; closed rooms can be accessed by members who accept invitations and users with management permissions. Revoked invitations or changes in room status may restrict access or posting.

Support for opening a proposed room is collected for 30 days. If the opening criteria are met in that period, the room opens and its requester becomes the manager. Otherwise the request expires. Conditions shown on screen, including opening criteria and request limits, apply.

The service is free. Features may change or stop due to maintenance, security measures, faults, force majeure or operational needs. Predictable important changes or closure will be announced in advance with reasons and timing; urgent situations will be announced when possible.

4. Rights in posted content

Copyright in member posts belongs to the relevant rights holders. The operator processes content as necessary to provide the service, such as storing, displaying and transmitting posts and resizing attachments. This clause does not transfer copyright to the operator or authorize unrestricted use of members' content in separate advertising.

Members must have the right to upload posts and attachments; users must also obtain necessary permission when reusing others' content externally. When infringement is reported, the operator may take appropriate action, such as restricting or deleting publication within the scope needed to verify it.

5. Duties of the operator and members

The operator manages information under the privacy policy and takes necessary measures for normal service provision and protection of members' rights. Members must follow the community rules and must not post or attempt illegal content, others' personal information, insults, threats, fraud, spam or system attacks.

Room managers handle board settings, invitations and management actions within the permissions of their room. This is not management authority over the entire service. Administrator permissions must not be used for personal disputes, harassment or bypassing rules.

6. Account deletion and restrictions

Members may request account deletion in account settings. Deletion ends login, anonymizes identifying information such as email and nickname, and deletes the avatar. Room manager permissions also end.

Posts, comments and existing conversations retain their structure and show the author as a deleted member. Names, contact details and attachments written in the content are not automatically anonymized, so remove posts and comments you want deleted before deleting your account. For your personal information remaining in messages that cannot be deleted on screen or in content you cannot access, request necessary action through the email below. Requests can also be made after account deletion.

Rule violations may result in hiding, deletion, posting restrictions or account restrictions to the extent necessary. Members may check the reason and appeal, but submitting an appeal does not automatically revoke the existing action.

7. Changes to terms and disputes

Changes to these terms will be announced with details, reasons and the effective date. Ordinary changes are announced 7 days before taking effect; unfavorable changes or changes to important rights and obligations are announced 30 days in advance. Separate consent will be obtained where needed. Members who disagree may stop using the service and delete their accounts.

Inquiries and disputes about service use may first be discussed through the contact below. Matters not covered by these terms follow relevant laws of the Republic of Korea. Court jurisdiction follows applicable laws. These terms do not limit members' rights or the operator's responsibilities under mandatory law.
